About Me

From a young age, I have always had a sense of motivation and passion for science. Whether these motivations are about exploring unique opportunities, learning additional skills, or meeting new people, I bring these values to every experience throughout my life on a personal and professional level. For my B.Sc. I have decided to study Material science and Engineering. While I was searching for papers to answer the torrent of questions that occupied my mind regarding the courses I had enrolled in, I had found myself spending a great deal of time reading articles that were related to biomaterial science. Thus, this was the start for me to understand that it is the very field of study in which I want to dedicate my time and effort. Finding the field of knowledge that I could not ever get enough exploring in it, I have decided to pursue studying it. As a result, for my M.Sc., I have chosen to study Biomedical Engineering - Tissue Engineering. I have tried hard to achieve a top rank in the Annual Nationwide University Entrance Exam so as to enter the Amirkabir University of Technology, the first-ranked university in Biomedical Engineering in Iran. All those endeavors paid off in the end as I achieved my goal by getting accepted in Tissue Engineering.

I have achieved my M.Sc. degree in Tissue Engineering at Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic.) During my master's program, the experimental part of my thesis has given me the opportunity to gain a great deal of experience in hydrogel synthesis, nanoparticle fabrication, and characterization, such as optimizing systems' morphometric, mechanical as well as biological stabilities, conductivity measurement system, and investigating cellular behavior. Additionally, I have developed my English skills through reading papers, participating in international conferences, and participating in writing scientific articles, to name but three.

As a result of my sincere thirst for knowledge, I have been accepted as a Ph.D. student in Montreal University, Medicine Department, Canada. My major is in continuation of my previous studies, Tissue Engineering, with the title of Biomedical Science-Experimental Medicine. I start my Ph.D. on the 1st of January 2023 under the supervision of Dr. Christophe Faure and Dr. Houman Savoji. The laboratory in which I am going to work is placed at CHU Sainte-Justine Research Centre.
